Murphy spoke to Israel-haters at the Women’s March. Does he regret that now?

Earlier this year – while a young woman in his administration was trying to find justice after she claims she was raped by one of his top appointees – Democrat Governor Phil Murphy trotted on to the stage of the Women’s March in New Jersey. He apparently didn’t care that the group’s founder, Linda Sarsour, called for Jihad against the government of the United States or that she was a fan of Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan.  He also didn’t seem to care that the Women’s March banner was being held by activists opposed to the Jewish State and that they were pushing anti-Israeli propaganda at the event – in front of him.

We thought of this over the weekend, when the Governor put out a press statement on the murders of eleven Jewish worshippers at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  That statement triggered a Star-Ledger headline that read:  “Murphy condemns rising anti-Semitism at vigil for Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.”

Condemn it… he’s part of it.  By allowing anti-Israeli propaganda to be part of the gatherings he speaks in front of, the Democrat is normalizing anti-Jewish sentiment by a major political party.  Forget trying to link it to President Trump’s coarse plain-spokenness – this is direct.  The people who would kill the Jewish State get to show up and be part of Democrat Party events and Murphy doesn’t say boo.

At the vigil attended by Murphy, the Governor had the gall to speak against what he himself has done:  "We must find the courage, even through tears and heartbreak, to reverse this trend. We cannot allow the normalization of hatred."  Yes Governor, we agree, so stop!

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said that anti-Semitic incidents had gone up by 32 percent in New Jersey.  Of course they did.  Hating the Jewish state is now mainstream with people like Governor Murphy, the Women’s March, and the Democrat Party.

Over the summer, Murphy’s close political ally – U.S. Senator Cory Booker – played up to the Hamas/Hezbollah loving Israel-haters – the Antifa wing of the Democrat Party.  After the Pittsburgh massacre, Booker had the gall to put out a press statement that triggered another Star-Ledger headline:  Booker says 'words matter' following attacks against Democrats and Jewish worshippers.

Ahem…

And then there’s Booker’s political ally – Democrat Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver – one of only three legislators to oppose a resolution that prohibited investment of state pension and annuity funds in anti-Jewish companies that boycott Israel or Israeli businesses.  That’s right, Ms. Oliver – Phil Murphy’s running mate and Cory Booker’s political ally – the Lt. Governor of New Jersey, sided with those who hate the Jewish state

The Roll Call vote is below.  Yes, words do matter Cory… and so do actions.

S1923 Aa (1R)  Prohibits investment of pension and annuity funds by State in companies that boycott Israel or Israeli businesses.

There’s an accused rapist prowling the State House in Trenton. Why are the Democrats protecting him?

A couple days ago, the story broke.  It had been suppressed up until then.  A woman on the campaign of Democrat Governor Phil Murphy accused a senior staffer of rape.  He got a cushy job in the Democrat administration.  She didn’t get justice.  Here is the story from the Star-Ledger…

The woman who accused a senior staffer in Gov. Phil Murphy's administration of sexually assaulting her while he worked for Murphy's campaign last year is a state official who says she is now telling her story because she has "received no justice."

Katie Brennan, who later volunteered for the campaign and is now the chief of staff at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, detailed her allegations against Albert J. Alvarez publicly for the first time in a story published by the Wall Street Journal on Sunday afternoon.

After the report was published Sunday afternoon, Brennan said in a statement: "On April 8th, 2017, Al Alvarez raped me. On April 9th, 2017 I learned that the system is broken."

"I have pursued every form of justice available," Brennan, 31, of Jersey City, continued. "But it has become clear that this system is not built for survivors."

Brennan said she "decided to come forward because I know that Al Alvarez, and all perpetrators, must be held accountable, must never rape again, and the justice system needs a complete change with regard to sexual violence."

"It is clear that leadership from the Murphy administration is needed to create meaningful policy change on several levels to make sure future victims do not have to endure what I have," she said.

Multiple media outlets -- including NJ Advance Media -- published reports this week citing anonymous sources saying Alvarez faced allegations of sexual assault while he worked as director of Latin and Muslim outreach for Murphy's campaign in April 2017. Alvarez, 44, of Wood-Ridge, was never charged with a crime.

The victim detailed to the newspaper how both the Governor and Democrat Party let her down…

We recall last year how the entire Democrat Party – leadership and minions – piled on to berate various Republicans for making jokes about the Women’s March organization (which turned out to be led by a racist Jihadist) or about Democrat candidates who happened to be women.  Jokes.  This is an accusation of rape we’re talking about.  There was plenty of outcry then.  Why is it muted now?

Where is Jay Lassiter on this?  Why are his panties not in a twist?  There are dozens and dozens of Democrats who have remained silent.  You know who you are.  We’re going to start naming the names of the “Pro-Rape” wing of the NJ Democrats.

And then there’s Bob Menendez… doesn’t anybody in the Democrat Party care about the FBI’s findings that he was using underaged prostitutes in the Caribbean?  Don’t they care that he trafficked young women for his old-assed buddy to play with?  These are crimes against nature we’re talking about.  But the Democrats just wank on by and blithely ignore it all.

Next time they open their fat mouth we’ll have plenty to fill it with.

NJ Herald wrong on motor-voter, as some say prison voting is next.

The New Jersey Herald ran a seriously limp editorial yesterday.

Here's what they had to say:

What's the harm in making voting easier?

New Jersey this week became the 12th state -- the third so far this year -- to approve automatic voter registration when persons get or renew their driver's licenses.

Though voter registration had previously been possible at MVC offices in New Jersey, persons had to opt in. The law passed by the Legislature along party lines and signed by Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy on Tuesday automatically would register eligible persons to vote unless they opt out. Eligible, by the way, means that among the criteria, they would have to be legal citizens.

What the Herald doesn't explain is that at the request of several Democrat-leaning organizations, the majority Democrats amended this bill (A-2014) in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.  The committee added language to expand "required automatic voter registration" to other state agencies as well, including welfare and parole offices.  One Democrat claimed that this bill would "help convicts get onto the voter rolls once they have completed their sentences."

As many who are paying attention to the New Jersey Democrats' agenda already know, the Democrats are very keen on extending voter registration to prison inmates convicted of crimes of all kinds.  Essentially, they want to turn prisons into massive get-out-the-vote operations in order to swing an election or two.  Is A-2014 a first step down that road?

What is even more curious is what's left out of the bill.  Why isn't a potential voter automatically signed-up when he or she pays property taxes or the state income tax?  How about when someone applies for a hunting or fishing license -- or a firearms permit?  What about automatic registration when you apply for any one of the licenses required to operate a small business or a professional license or a license for self-employment?

If the goal is to "increase voter turnout" -- then why not cast a wider net?

The Democrats appear to know exactly which voters they want this law to reach and those they don't much care about.  We hope that A-2014 wasn't the product of mere cynicism and that some good will come from it.

As for "increasing voter turnout", one suggestion does come to our mind and that is providing voters with more choices.  We'd love to see more parties but in much of New Jersey there are not even two.  In this year's Freeholder races in Sussex County, for instance, the Sussex County Democrats didn't even turn in petitions to run.  That means that only Republicans will be on the ballot in November.

Sussex County isn't alone.  In many other places the Republicans failed to turn in petitions.  Nobody needs a new law to address this.  Just candidates.  One party elections are a good way to kill turnout.

Democrats push Tax Hikes & Spending, trash 2nd Amendment

by Bill Collier

Listening to Josh Gottheimer's ally and friend, Governor Murphy, speak in Trenton yesterday about his grandiose plans to tax our way to prosperity, as if that ever works,  one wonders how any moderate Democrat wouldn’t denounce such radical, out of touch ideas.

In a nutshell, Governor Murphy says yes to more taxes and regulations, massive spending, and more nanny state interference in our lives. As if New Jersey's taxpayers aren’t already paying more than enough and getting little value in return. Of course, the radical “progressive” agenda proclaimed by Murphy has not a moderate thread, something that SHOULD alarm Gottheimer but clearly doesn’t.

Murphy wants to change the temperature of the planet somehow by taxing and regulating you into poverty. He doesn’t want offshore drilling, conjuring images of disaster. He even wants to tell neighboring states not to do fracking. He is against energy independence, he thinks he can control the planet’s climate, and he is thumbing his nose at our neighbors.

He is also against the Bill of Rights, well, at least the second amendment. Like every tinhorn tyrant and milquetoast bureaucrat, he is afraid of average people having and exercising their God-given right to self-defense. He would prefer to disarm us so, if we face a threat, we can call 911 and die.

So, he is against the Bill of Rights (because if you oppose one, you oppose them all) and he is against energy independence. He is against you spending your own money. But he is for lining the pockets of the bureaucracy, who get paid to run the many programs he imagines we need to save us, and who will also benefit from his mad effort to change the global temperature.

And where is his pal, Gottheimer? Gottheimer is in the corner, pretending he is NONE OF THAT CRAZY. But he is. He is all about everything Murphy, Clinton, and Nancy Pelosi are about. As he pretends to be a “problem solver”, perhaps he could burnish his credentials and denounce the radical nonsense his friend and ally Governor Murphy dumped on New Jersey in yesterday's speech!

Should Democrat legislator resign over conviction?

We've been waiting for the campaign of U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin to step up and fire back at the group of hypocritical Democrats who accuse him of "racism" because he sought the endorsement of a conservative Assemblyman who attended a Hank Williams Jr. concert and who was photographed standing near a Hank Williams Jr. band banner (which consists of Hank Williams Jr.'s face, some lyrics to a Hank Williams Jr. song, and the rebel flag).  The worst this Assemblyman could be accused of is poor taste.  Racism is a lot deeper than that.

Of course, one would have to be a person of more than Twitter depth to actually understand that racism isn't about one's fashion accessories.  And as this is the Democrat Caucus of the New Jersey Legislature, you are not going to get much in the way of deep thinking.  This caucus has already done so much to infantilize political discourse.

Instead of remaining silent, Hugin's camp could have reminded these Assembly Democrats that they have in their caucus, at least one member who has faced criminal charges and who has been convicted of a federal crime.   And maybe they should do something about it, before going after someone who has questionable taste, but who hasn't broken any laws.  Oh, but wait, the hypocrites will say... he has a Dukes of Hazard tattoo!

What a bunch of handjobs... they probably watched the show themselves (and perhaps salivated a little over the bodacious Daisy Duke).

The Assembly Democrats need to clean up their own caucus, starting with this guy...
